Miele Professional is seeking a hands-on and forward-thinking
Head of Service
to lead and develop our service organization in Finland.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a field service team of 8 professionals along with managing a nationwide network of over 60 service partners. You will be working closely with our back-office team, responsible for supporting our Service and Sales functions.
You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring financial performance, and aligning local service strategies with our global vision of becoming “Immer Besser” – Forever Better.
You will report directly to the Director of Service Professional, Northern & Western Europe, and collaborate closely with international colleagues across the Nordics, Northwest Europe region, and our German headquarters. Locally you will have a disciplinary reporting line to the Professional Head of Sales, acting as the Country Coordinator of Miele Professional in Finland.
This role is based at Miele’s Finnish headquarters in Porttipuisto, Vantaa. We offer the flexibility of hybrid work, enabling you to work partially remotely. Additionally, we highly value community and team spirit, and we encourage everyone to contribute to this.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for service department turnover, budget, P&L, and KPIs
- Develop and execute Finland’s local service strategy in alignment with global objectives
- Strengthening our service contract business with a strong commercial focus
- Lead, inspire, and grow the service team and partner network
- Ensure compliance with Miele’s international service standards and drive best practice adoption
- Collaborate closely with the Sales department to deliver integrated customer solutions
- Manage a field-based team with effective remote leadership maintaining high engagement and level of support
- Work collaboratively with fellow Miele leaders to manage the Finnish subsidiary and work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in customer service or technical service environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Higher education in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in cross-border reporting and international collaboration is beneficial
